Valentijnsdag

Nu vieren we in Nederland niet echt Valentijnsdag zoals in Amerika, maar dan nog is het leuk om iets te doen voor een ander. Gewoon een kleinigheidje, of iets groters zoals mijn man dan denkt ;o))

Hij had een mooie nieuwe Pandora armband voor me gekocht, omdat mijn andere vol is. De schat.

Voor hem had ik een lekker bad laten vollopen met kaarsjes erbij, wat lekkers en wat drinken en zijn boek, kon hij lekker even ontspannen op zijn gemakje. Voor de kinderen had ik een tasje met wat snoepjes op hun kussen gezet, dus toen ze wakker werden vonden ze dat. Heel zachtjes hebben ze toen allebei wat in elkaar geknutseld en samen een liedje gemaakt en zijn dat boven komen zingen. Echt zo schetig!

In Holland we don't really celebrate Valentinesday as they do in the U.S., but it's always nice to do something for someone else. Just a little thing, nothing special. Or a big thing as my sweet husband did ;o))

He bought me a new beautifull Pandora bracelet, because my other one was full, with some nice beads. The sweetheart.

I had run him a bath with candles, something to drink, a snack and his book, to relax for a while. For the kids I had made a goodiebag with candy, which I put on their pillows while they were sleeping. In the morning they saw them and quietly they crafted us a gift and made up a song/poem which they sang when we woke up. Too sweet!

Gisteravond had ik een Skype/crop avond met Henrie. Ik had er een hard hoofd in of ik wat ging maken. Er lopen teveel projecten in mijn hoofd en ik had niets voorbereid, maar wonder boven wonder ging het hartstikke lekker! Hoe ik ze mooi op de foto krijg weet ik nog steeds niet helemaal. Het ziet er altijd zo gewoontjes en goedkoop uit, terwijl ik dat in het echt helemaal niet zo zie... Tips zijn welkom!

Yesterday Henrie and I had our Skype/crop night/day. I didn't think I was going to get something done. Too many project in my head and nothing prepared. But miracles happen and we both did a great job!

How to get the Layouts right on camera I still don't know. They always look so plain and cheap, but in reallife it doesn't look that way.... All tips are welcome!!
